Annette Messager "Mes Voeux" @the Met

I saw this work by Messager at the Don't Forget to Call Your Mother exhibit at the Met yesterday. The show looked at the power of found objects in evoking emotions of "nostalgia and sentimentality". I appreciate the idea of the photo as a sort of found object. The way she constructed this piece reminded me of my own work ("emotion" 2024).
